Make this simple, crowd-pleasing hot dip for your next gathering. It uses classic Frank’s-style hot sauce flavor and bakes quickly.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup cooked, shredded chicken
  • 1/2 cup buffalo style hot sauce (Frank’s RedHot recommended)
  • 1/2 cup ranch or blue cheese dressing
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onion (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Lightly grease an 8×8 inch baking dish.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded chicken, buffalo hot sauce, and ranch or blue cheese dressing. Mix until everything is fully incorporated.
  3. Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish.
  4. Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the top of the dip mixture.
  5. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the dip is heated through and the cheese on top is melted and bubbly.
  6. Garnish with chopped green onion, if desired, before serving hot.

Notes

  • Serve this dip warm with tortilla chips, celery sticks, carrot sticks, or crackers for dipping.
  • You can prepare the dip mixture up to 24 hours ahead of time. Cover and refrigerate, then add 5-10 minutes to the baking time when ready to serve.
  • For a richer flavor, use blue cheese dressing instead of ranch.
