Make this creamy, whipped cinnamon butter at home in just five minutes. This recipe tastes just like the famous Texas Roadhouse spread, perfect for warm rolls or toast.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup honey (or maple syrup for variation)

Instructions

  1. Place the softened butter, powdered sugar, cinnamon, and honey into a medium mixing bowl.
  2. Use an electric mixer to beat the ingredients on medium speed until they are completely combined and fluffy, about 2 to 3 minutes.
  3. Stop the mixer and scrape down the sides of the bowl with a spatula. Beat for another minute until the mixture is light and airy.
  4. Serve immediately with warm rolls, or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Notes

  • For a brown sugar cinnamon butter variation, substitute the powdered sugar with 1/2 cup of packed light brown sugar.
  • If the butter is too stiff after chilling, let it sit on the counter for 10 minutes before serving.
  • This sweet butter topping is excellent on pancakes, biscuits, or cornbread.
