Ingredients
Scale
4 (6 ounce) salmon fillets, skin on or off
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
2 tablespoons honey
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon soy sauce or tamari
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
1/2 lemon, sliced (for serving)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easy cleanup.
Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel. Place them on the prepared baking sheet.
In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, and Dijon mustard until combined. This is your glaze.
Brush or spoon the honey garlic butter glaze evenly over the top of each salmon fillet. Season lightly with salt and pepper.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fillets, until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C). For crispier edges, you can briefly broil for the last 1-2 minutes, watching closely to prevent burning.
Remove from the oven. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately with lemon slices.
Notes
For a restaurant-style finish similar to Texas Roadhouse, increase the butter slightly and add a pinch of smoked paprika to the glaze for a smoky depth.
If you prefer crispy skin, place the salmon skin-side down on the baking sheet and do not cover the skin with the glaze.
This recipe works well for meal prep; store cooled leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
