Ingredients
Scale
1 cup strawberries, hulled and halved
1 cup pineapple chunks
1 cup cantaloupe or orange melon, cubed
1 cup green grapes
1 cup blueberries
1 cup purple grapes
12 wooden skewers (8-inch)
For the Dip: 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
2 tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
Wash and prepare all fruit. Cut larger fruits like strawberries and melon into bite-sized pieces suitable for skewering.
Assemble the skewers by threading the fruit onto the wooden skewers in a rainbow pattern (red, orange, yellow/light green, dark green, blue, purple). Aim for a mix of melon, grapes, and berries on each skewer for stability.
Prepare the dip: In a small bowl, mix the Greek yogurt, honey, and vanilla extract until smooth. This makes a great fruit appetizer dip.
Arrange the finished rainbow fruit skewers on a platter. Serve immediately with the yogurt dip on the side for dipping.
Notes
For best results, use firm fruits like melon and grapes, as they hold their shape well on the skewer. Soft fruits like raspberries should be added last or near the top.
These are excellent graduation party ideas because they are easy to prepare ahead of time and serve cold.
If serving outdoors, keep the skewers chilled until just before serving to maintain freshness.
