Make satisfying, cheesy pizza bagels quickly using simple ingredients. This recipe is perfect for a fast weeknight meal or a fun family snack.

  • 4 plain bagels, halved
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce or marinara sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup sliced beef pepperoni (or your favorite topping)
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees Celsius). If using an air fryer, preheat to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees Celsius).
  2. Place the bagel halves cut-side up on a baking sheet or directly in the air fryer basket.
  3. Spread about one tablespoon of pizza sauce evenly over the surface of each bagel half.
  4. Top the sauce with an even layer of mozzarella cheese.
  5. Place your desired amount of pepperoni slices onto the cheese. Sprinkle lightly with Italian seasoning, if using.
  6. Bake in the oven for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the cheese is fully melted and bubbly and the bagel edges are lightly toasted. If using an air fryer, cook for 5 to 7 minutes until the cheese melts.
  7. Remove from the oven or air fryer and let cool slightly before serving your quick pizza bagels.
