Make this simple, hydrating watermelon smoothie for a perfect cool summer treat. It requires minimal ingredients and blends in minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups frozen watermelon cubes
  • 1 cup strawberries, frozen
  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt (or vegan yogurt for dairy-free)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 cup cold water or coconut water (adjust for thickness)

Instructions

  1. Place the frozen watermelon cubes, frozen strawberries, Greek yogurt, and lime juice into your blender.
  2. Pour in the cold water or coconut water. Start with 1/2 cup.
  3. Secure the lid and blend on high speed until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy. Stop and scrape down the sides if needed.
  4. If the smoothie is too thick, add more liquid, one tablespoon at a time, until you reach your desired consistency.
  5. Pour immediately into glasses and serve this refreshing summer drink.

Notes

  • For an extra boost of protein, add one scoop of vanilla protein powder before blending.
  • If you do not have frozen watermelon, use fresh watermelon and add 1 cup of ice cubes for a cold, hydrating smoothie.
  • This recipe is naturally low calorie and works well for weight loss goals.
